How to Convert kW to kVA (Formula & Explanation)

To convert kW to kVA (kilowatts to kilovolt-amperes), divide real power by power factor: kVA = kW ÷ PF. This applies to single-phase and balanced three-phase when you use total kW and an equivalent PF.
